Flo Dauner:

Born in Stuttgart, Germany, Flo started learning drums and piano aged 6. Aged 12 he took part in the TV documentary “Die Joghurts” a film about 3 kids in a Rock band. ‘Die Joghurts‘was Flo’s first band. Together with ‘Freefall’ a band formed shortly after,and at the young age of 13, Flo started gigging in clubs around town and gained some of his earliest stage experience. A few years later, he participated in the stage play ‘The Soldier‘ by B.A.Zimmermann with the Staatsoper Stuttgart (City Opera) with shows taking place in Germany, France and Russia. Aged 18 he moved to Berlin where he worked as a session drummer for various pop and jazz productions. He left Berlin in ´92 to study Drums and Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.

1993-

To present day-drummer with the successful, platinum selling hip hop band ‘Die Fantastischen Vier’ (The Fantastic 4). Since then, has played more than 400 shows throughout Europe including numerous tours and festivals, eg.- Roskilde, Rock am Ring, MTV Hard Pop Days and many more. He supported U2 on their Pop Mart World Tour in Germany (with The Fanta.4).

 

 

1997-

US tour with his father- the jazz musician Wolfgang Dauner. Gigs in New York and Washington.

 

 

1998-
Joined comedy act Badesalz for an open-air festival tour.
 
1999-
Formation of ‘progressive groove-jazz’ band Orbit.Experience. Gigs in Russia and Germany. Album ‘Orbit.Experience” released in Russia-shows in Moscow.
 
2000-
Did MTV ‘Unplugged’ with Die Fantastischen 4 in Balver Cave, Germany. The first ever German Hip-Hop act to have been asked to do so. Orbit.Experience album “Space.Beat’ released. Tours around Europe follow.
 
2001-
‘PAKT’ a collaboration between Orbit.Experience, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and Audio-Visual artists founded.
 
2002-
Toured with Hefner(UK), Charlemaine, Orbit.Experience and De Phazz. Joined German ‘lounge’ act De Phazz in autumn 2002. Over 200 shows have been played in and around Europe since then.
 
2003-
Unplugged Tour with Die Fantastischen Vier. 3 years after the release of the platinum selling album ‘MTV Unplugged’ the act decides to do a completely acoustic tour throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
 
2004-
‘Harem World Tour’ with Musical superstar Sarah Brightman. In 8 months, more than 100 shows played in Mexico, USA, Canada, Asia, Australia and Europe. Live CD and DVD recorded at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, USA.
 
2005- 
Die Fantastischen 4 ‘Viel Unterwegs Tour 2’ and De Phazz ‘Natural Fake’ European tour. Worked on various album productions.


 

2006-
‘Deutschland Sucht Den Superstar’ (German version of TV program ‘Pop Idol’), Die
Fantastischen 4, De Phazz, Jeff Cascaro and most recently, alongside superstar Dj Paul van Dyk in Central Park, New York.
